Expect a fruity cup with notes of blueberry jam, dried fig and fudgy toffee.

From roaster:

Our Simbi coffee comes from the Huye region in Rwanda, Africa. At 1850m above sea level, the bourbon coffee bushes grow. An unusual natural bourbon from Rwanda. In the cup, the espresso tastes wonderfully sweet of fudgy toffee, sweet blueberry jam and dried fig.

We at 19grams have known the Simbi Washing Station for many years: The Washing Station Simbi was founded in 2013 by Abdul Rudahunga. It allows farmers around the Huye region to prepare their coffee. Almost 1500 micro farms deliver their coffee to Simbi Station, which employs around 80 people at the main harvest season. There is room for 300t of coffee cherries, which are processed using different methods. From fully-washed beans to sun-dried natural coffee cherries, everything is possible.

Due to its experimental and at the same time careful workmanship, the Simbi Station produces excellent quality.
Simbi coffees have already been nominated for the Cup of Excellence several times.
