Expect a juicy cup with notes of strawberry, cantaloupe and a nutty finish reminiscent of hazelnut. Imagine running trough a strawberry field.. Who's coming??
This coffee is special thanks to the acidic character of the soil of the pine forest it is situated in. Only a small part of the total land was used to grow coffee to ensure a healthy biodiversity and for the coffee plants to be completely shade grown. The cherry is dried on raised beds for 20-30 days and is turned hourly.
This farm is also important to the local coffee farming community for many farmers to learn important skills and they can apply these valuable skills to their own farm when they have one.
