Mahembe Muama Peaberry - Rwanda - Filter - Washed - 250g

Expect a well balanced, juicy cup with with notes of dark fruits, poached peach and caramel. It's got a little bit of everything, and nothing too much of anything :)

Peaberry is the result of only one coffee seed fertilised in the coffee cherry, giving it a rounded shape instead of having a flat side when it is shared with a second seed. This natural mutation is believed to bring a tastier cup for it is the only seed in the berry that receives all the nutrients from the tree.
