The farmers of this lot are descendants of the Incas, the ancient and pre-hispanic community in Colombia and Peru. We are talking about coffee grown by descendants of nomad warriors of the Inca empire army here!
The high elevation combined with nutrient rich ash from the Galeras volcano give this coffee its exceptional and sweet character. Not to mention the warriors, they definitely helped ;)
